1. The Famous Bogeyman
The bogeyman takes different forms, while his goal remains to scare the children and make them behave well. A bogeyman can be a human sometimes, but mostly it’s a supernatural being. For instance, Pennywise from the latest series IT is the millennial bogeyman that has been making children go home straight after school and hate the clowns since 1986.
2. Minotaur
This is a hybrid supernatural creature with the head of a bull on the human body. Known to be an angry creature trapped in a labyrinth by the King Minos of Crete. According to the fantasy, the Minotaur was slain by an Athenian named Theseus. You can find this mythical creature in Inferno and Percy Jackson.
3. Unicorn
The unicorn is another supernatural creature that has become kids’ absolute favourite these days. It is a rainbow-coloured horse with a horn. It is supposed to have magical powers and hence remains the central figure in many of the kid’s stories and picture books.
4. Vampire
Vampires are among the most popular supernatural creatures that are even loved by millennials. From their sexy portrayal in the Twilight and Vampire Diaries to the terrifying atrocious Count Orlok in Nosferatu, they have been in our fantasies for more than a century now. They are known to feed on the living’s blood to remain immortal and avoid the sunlight. Their hearts are the vulnerable most part.
5. Yeti and Bigfoot supernatural creatures
We have grouped these giants that have been entertaining our kids for decades. From telling interesting stories to the kids to even scaring them when they aren’t listening, Yeti and bigfoot have been the right supernatural creatures to make the kids do homework on time.
6. Phoenix
Phoenix makes you recall the invincible Fawkes from Harry Potter. This supernatural creature is the symbol of resurrection; its existence stems from Roman and Greek mythology. It is said to represent the spiritual resurrection of a character or even their return from the grave.

Zombies came from Haitian folklore and originated in the mid-20th century. These mythical characters were once humans but are now completely detached from their former selves. The Centaurs are a half-human and half horse. They have been a strong antagonist in Greek mythology, with a human head on the horse’s body.
9. Werewolf
Another hit mythical character these days is the werewolf. A werewolf is a human that turns into a wolf on every full moon and forgets about their true self. From being a subject of horror to the object of affection in paranormal romance, you can find all sorts of stories and movies revolving around the werewolf.
10. Mermaid – hybrid supernatural creature
Another hybrid supernatural creature with the face and body of a human and the tail of a fish that has been ruling the water kingdom in many of our favourite stories since childhood. They are seen as a threat or even a love interest for people travelling by sea in most fantasies.
